It's been a pleasure to see so many of you dining with us recently at Zédel, particularly on our outdoor terrace at ZL Café, which is an ideal spot for watching the world go by.

On that note, our new Spring menus have just gone live in the restaurant created by Head Chef, Charles Hilton and his team.

Do read on for some spring menu highlights and a bit more about Charles, including his new Instagram account where you can see a bit more of what goes on behind the scenes.

It's our 10th birthday in June and we’re busy planning some suitably Zédel celebrations, so do watch this space; more will be revealed very soon.

Speaking of 10th birthdays, one of our Crazy Coqs residents since day one is none other than Miss Hope Springs. And throughout next week, they'll be celebrating with a spectacular showcase – read on to find out more book your tickets.

As always, the team and I look forward to welcoming you to Zédel soon.

Best wishes
Michael Johnston

Having been at the helm of the Zédel kitchen since September 2016, Head Chef, Charles Hilton is responsible for overseeing menu development and leading our kitchen brigade.

With a keen interest in researching recipes and the provenance of the ingredients he uses, Charles brings this to everything he does here at Zédel.

And recently, he’s joined Instagram where you can see some of his recipes, weekly specials and a bit more of what goes into creating these dishes in the kitchen – follow him here.

On the new spring menus are the likes of Bone Marrow with Toasted Sourdough to start, Roasted Cod with clams, leeks and a vermouth butter sauce for main, and a Rhubarb and Orange Coupe for dessert.

And up in ZL Café, you can enjoy a range of Parisian-inspired classic dishes, from Croques to Café et Gateaux... Bon appétit

A regular at Crazy Coqs since we first opened our doors 10 years ago, Miss Hope Springs returns to Zédel to celebrate with a dazzling cabaret show.

Hope will revisit some of her much-loved previous performances, including 'Je m’appelle Hope', 'Latin Ala Springs', and 'Vegas to Weimar' to name a few in a fittingly spectacular evening of scandalous showbiz stories, musical numbers and much more.

Miss Hope Springs will take to the Crazy Coqs stage next week, from Tuesday 26th to Saturday 30th April.
